    I would like to know ,what kind of ord is recommended for the fixed stars , this is an astrology question. I have always been interested in fixed stars , I have been using no more than a 3 degree orb…..I am a student in astrology now for 50yrs LOL, I call mysef a student ,still in the learnig process .

    “Orbs of influence: Nobody seems to know what is the correct orb of influence. There is general agreement that the bigger and brighter stars have a stronger influence than the dimmer stars. Astrologers usually agree on a one degree orb.”

    It might be that the larger stars have a wider orb. One instance I noticed with a woman who got bitten by a dog. At the time she had transiting Uranus at an exact inconjunct to her natal Uranus, her natal Uranus was two degrees away from Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
